2026 Resilient Communities Fund Grant Summary
The New Mexico Resiliency Alliance (NMRA), in partnership with New Mexico MainStreet (NMMS), provides funding to strengthen the economic vibrancy and resiliency of rural and underserved communities.
CORE ELIGIBILITY
Lead Applicant: Must be the local MainStreet or Arts & Cultural District (ACD) program.
Status: Organization must be a 501(c)(3) in good standing with NMMS reporting and compliance.
Match Requirement: A 1-to-1 match is required. Projects with a 50% cash and 50% in-kind match are prioritized.
FUNDING PRIORITIES
Grants generally range from $2,500 to $5,000 for projects that demonstrate immediate impact in these areas:
Economic & Entrepreneurial Development: Innovative projects supporting small businesses.
Design & Placemaking: Streetscapes, mobility, and public space enhancements.
Creative Economy: Arts, cultural events, and creative entrepreneurship.
Marketing & Branding: Initiatives to attract diverse customers to the district.
Local Food & Outdoor Rec: Strengthening food systems or leveraging natural resources.Match Requirement: A 1-to-1 match is required. Projects with a 50% cash and 50% in-kind match are prioritized.
